If glass is struck or breaks, the film is designed to help hold the fragments together. It is a safety film focused on fragment retention — not a bullet- or blast-rated product.
High-security glass safety film is a clear 12-mil anti-shatter film for banks, government, and sensitive sites — designed to help hold shattered glass together and reduce fragmentation on impact. It is not bullet- or blast-rated; where ballistic or blast resistance is required, specialist glazing is needed. Film supply starts from AED 117 per square metre (4 Mil AED 117/m²; 8 Mil AED 141/m²; 12 Mil AED 147/m²), with a 15 m² minimum order and 5% VAT on top. Installation is estimated separately, excluded from the online payment and confirmed after a site visit.
