High-security glass safety film is a clear 12-mil anti-shatter film for banks, government, and sensitive sites, designed to help hold shattered glass together and reduce fragmentation on impact. It is not bullet- or blast-rated; where ballistic or blast resistance is required, specialist glazing is needed. Film supply starts from AED 117 per square metre (4 Mil (Vitra 4) AED 116.67/m², 8 Mil (VitraGuard 8) AED 141.07/m², 12 Mil (VitraGuard Max 12) AED 147.20/m², 15 Mil (VitraGuard Ultra 15) AED 156.40/m²), with a 15 m² minimum order and 5% VAT on top. Installation is estimated separately, excluded from the online payment and confirmed after a site visit.
